چکیده

The conversion of carbon dioxide into value-added products is progressively gaining momentum. Several strategies have been used to develop technologies that reduce the net emissions CO2. utilisation CO2 could either contribute recycling. In this paper, transformation was investigated in a coelectrolysis cell constituted solid polymer electrolyte, carbon-supported CuO-Ag composite cathode and NiFeOx anode. Noncritical raw materials were synthesised according oxalate method an alkaline environment. Low-carbon alcohols obtained with specific selectivity for ethanol methanol over CuO-Ag/KB cathode. reaction rates at 1.6 V 1.8 voltages determined steady-state experiments using NaHCO3 supporting electrolyte recirculated

A bifunctional solid oxide electrolysis cell for simultaneous CO2 utilization and synthesis gas production.

We hereby report on a pioneering and inspiring solid oxide cell which, assisted by natural gas, utilizes a bifunctional electrolysis cell configuration to effectively consume CO2 to produce CO at the cathode side and simultaneously synthesize highly valuable syngas (mixture of CO and H2) at the anode side via a one-step green process.

Fabrication and Electrochemical Behavior of Monoclinic CuO and CuO/Graphite Composite Nanoparticles as Cathode in an Alkaline Zn-CuO Battery

Electrochemical properties of various rock-shaped-CuO/graphite (G) composites and monoclinic structure CuO nanoparticles as the cathode versus a zinc plate as the anode in a 4M NaOH electrolyte were elucidated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and chronopotentiometry (CP) in a two electrode configuration cell. Various values of G 9, 16 and 28 wt% were prepared and studied as catho...

Comprehensive Study of an Earth-Abundant Bifunctional 3D Electrode for Efficient Water Electrolysis in Alkaline Medium.

We report efficient electrolysis of both water-splitting half reactions in the same medium by a bifunctional 3D electrode comprising Co3O4 nanospheres nucleated on the surface of nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes (NCNTs) that in turn are grown on conductive carbon paper (CP). The resulting electrode exhibits high stability and large electrochemical activity for both oxygen and hydrogen evolution ...
